For an unarmed robbery committed by a group of four with limited violence and low-value theft the appropriate starting point is four years; the applicants were entitled to the normal one-third discount for timely guilty pleas because no sound reason existed to reduce it; accordingly the robbery sentences were reduced to 32 months each and leave to appeal was granted despite lateness.
