On a broad‑brush assessment the court found the husband had sufficient means (including recent employer cheques, large cash withdrawals and diminution of silver/gold holdings) and that the reasonable interim needs of the children and petitioner required payment; accordingly the court ordered HK$21,000 per month per child as interim maintenance and HK$8,500 per month to the petitioner as maintenance pending suit, with specified allocation of household and children expenses and provision for costs.
