- Court
- Court of Appeal

- CACV225/2007
The Court of Appeal held the learned judge properly exercised his discretion under s.29(1) to order discovery and examination because new evidence and material inconsistencies gave a sufficient basis for investigation and the orders were not a fishing expedition; further, extension of the automatic discharge/disqualification for three years was justified by lack of full and frank disclosure, contradictory affidavits, suspicious transactions and unsatisfactory conduct (gambling/speculation).
