Trial judge's findings that the appellant acted as a salesperson (not merely a translator), handled sales tasks, received payments and ordered stock, and therefore knew or had reasonable grounds to suspect the goods bore counterfeit LV trademarks were supported by the evidence; appellant failed to prove she took all reasonable steps to avoid the offence under the statutory defences; recorded statements were voluntary; convictions therefore safe; sentencing reduced on appeal to reflect lesser role and personal mitigation.
