The Court held that the Recorder's refusal to grant extension of time was an interlocutory decision requiring leave under Section 14AA; because the plaintiff had not obtained Section 14AA leave the appeal was incompetent and was struck out. The Court also held the Recorder's oral dismissal on 16 July 2018 took immediate effect and ordered the plaintiff to pay party-to-party costs of $75,000 to the 1st, 4th and 5th defendants.
