Electronic reproductions stored or transiently generated by a seeder and transmitted as packets over the internet qualify as 'copies' and their transmission via BitTorrent by taking preparatory and active seeding steps constitutes 'distribution' under s118(1)(f); physical transfer of a storage medium is not required.
