The conviction was upheld because fingerprint and other circumstantial evidence, together with the trial judge's rejection of the defendant's account, supported the inference of entry with intent to steal; however the original sentence of 21 months consecutive was manifestly excessive under the totality principle and was reduced to 12 months consecutive to the earlier sentences.
