On the balance of probabilities the defendant failed to prove his pleas were involuntary or made without understanding; contemporaneous records and consistent witness testimony established counsel provided comprehensive advice and the defendant had decided to plead earlier, therefore the application to withdraw the plea was dismissed and the guilty pleas were upheld.
