The Court held that it was within the appellate courts' discretion to dismiss the expedited appeals where the corporate applicants failed to have representation at the hearing and where the complaints were fact specific and did not raise points of law of general public importance; consequently the applications for leave to appeal were dismissed with costs because the Court of Appeal had been entitled to dismiss and had correctly assessed the appeals as lacking merit.
