The Court found no demonstrable error in the trial judge's factual findings or credibility assessments; the applicants' explanations were implausible in light of their joint conduct and the obvious falsity of documents, and the procedural complaints did not establish unfairness. Accordingly the leave application was dismissed and the convictions and three-year sentences upheld.
