The trial judge's credibility findings and inferences were rational and supported by PW1's unshaken evidence that she requested a medical certificate and would not have returned otherwise; the prosecution proved the elements of forgery (false certificates bearing a deceased registered practitioner's name, created by the appellant with knowledge of falsity and intent to induce acceptance); therefore convictions are safe and appeal is dismissed.
