THE QUEEN v. MOHAMMAD IMRAN
- Citation
- THE QUEEN v. MOHAMMAD IMRAN
- Court
- Court of Appeal
- Case number
- CACC222/1990
The Court held the aggregate sentence was not excessive: forged travellers cheques are essentially equivalent to forged currency and warrant stern punishment; the plea of guilty was the only real mitigation and did not require reduction of the sentences imposed, therefore leave to appeal was refused.
