Documentary evidence (the 1962 certified birth registration naming Ip Kat/Ip Kut Lung as father, the 2002 genealogy and 1980 conveyances) was credible and consistent; plaintiff's oral and documentary evidence was inconsistent and implausible; on the balance of probabilities the defendant's father was a natural son entitled to inherit so the plaintiff failed to prove entitlement and the claim is dismissed.
