The jury were properly directed about the unreliability of the informer and the need for corroboration; there was sufficient corroborative material (defendants' statements and recovered weapons) for convictions on counts 1-3 so appeals against conviction were refused; sentencing exceeded statutory jurisdiction in respect of the imitation firearm term and that term was reduced accordingly; the fourth defendant's sentence was reduced for his lesser participation and withdrawal.
