Errors and omissions in the applicants' election expense returns were the result of inadvertence, miscalculation or lost receipts and did not demonstrate bad faith; accordingly the court exercised its discretion under ss40(3) and 40(5) to grant correction and excepting orders and ordered filing of corrective returns within seven days, with no order as to costs.
