The coroner decided to convene a joint inquest into the three deaths, directed the police to prepare and submit a full investigative report (expected by end June 2023), and fixed a timetable for a second pre-inquest review within two months of receipt of that report (and in any event by October 2023); the inquest will focus on cause and circumstances and may make preventive recommendations but will not determine civil or criminal liability.
