The appeal is dismissed because the trial judge reasonably concluded on the unique facts (large cash held in defendant's safe, defendant holding keys to partner's safe deposit boxes with large cash, extensive unexplained bank account activity and property purchases, and implausible explanations) that both the objective and subjective limbs of "reasonable grounds to believe" under s25(1) were satisfied and the judge permissibly rejected the defence evidence; handling includes custody of keys and transfer activity, so conviction and sentence are safe.
