The judge found that none of the six grounds of appeal demonstrated reasonable prospects under s14AA(4)(a); on the evidence the appointment of receivers was a justified, proportionate exercise of judicial discretion to protect trust assets given real risks (including unexplained cash decreases), concerns about management could be addressed by directions to the receivers, and therefore leave to appeal and the applications for stay were dismissed.
