Section 5(2) of the Small Claims Tribunal Ordinance must be read with s5(3); where a claim falling within the Tribunal's monetary limit seeks other remedies (such as an injunction) which the Tribunal cannot grant, the claim may properly be brought in the Regional Court. Therefore the Regional Court had jurisdiction to hear the plaintiffs' claim that included a request for an injunction; the appeal is dismissed.
