- Case number
- CACC495/1991
The trial judge lawfully exercised his discretion in admitting the cautioned statements after hearing police testimony and, in the absence of any evidence from the applicant to substantiate allegations of coercion, the convictions must stand; the sentencing judge properly exercised discretion to commit the applicant to a Training Centre given the seriousness of the robberies, reports considered and the applicant's character, so the applications for leave to appeal against conviction and sentence are dismissed.
