The court accepted the plaintiffs' literal translation of the Chinese agreements, found the defendants had undertaken to effect conversion within six months and breached that undertaking; the defendants were dishonest, concealed transactions and misappropriated plaintiffs' funds, and therefore were liable to repay the plaintiffs with contractual interest; the defendants' counterclaim was dismissed.
