The court accepted the prosecution witnesses as credible and accepted the laser device evidence and engineer certificates showing the device operated normally with an error margin of ±2 km/h; the appellant failed to provide a reasonable explanation for not adducing the taxi video at trial and the video would not have affected the verdict (did not show speed or precise location); accordingly the conviction was safe and the appeal was dismissed.
