Applying the principle that costs follow the event and the law on estate litigation categories, the court held D2 must pay P's costs caused by D2 up to 7 December 2016 and thereafter there is no order for costs between P and D2 (including this variation); D2 must pay D1's costs arising from D2's variation application; D3 must pay P's costs caused by D3 including the present variation; all figures to be assessed on a party‑and‑party basis if not agreed.
