The Court held that legal costs may properly be included as an element of maintenance pending suit; the Family Court judge did not err in principle or act arbitrarily in ordering an additional HK$20,000 per month for legal costs given the discharge of legal aid, the wife's dependency and the husband's means; the variation of the consent order was justified and the judge's exercise of discretion was appropriate when accompanied by undertakings from the wife regarding application of the sums.
