On the balance of probabilities the plaintiff slipped on a wet steel‑floated concrete toilet floor shortly after cleaning; the employer breached its statutory and common law duty by failing to provide a reasonably safe latrine, the Housing Authority retained sufficient control to be an occupier and breached its duty, and the cleaning contractor was instrumental in creating the wet/slippery condition; plaintiff was 40% contributorily negligent; all three defendants are equally liable to contribute; net judgment to plaintiff HK$482,612.62 after apportionment and deduction of prior compensation.
