The Court dismissed the application for leave to appeal; the Court of Appeal's decision of 15 June 2020 stands because High Court Ordinance s14AB bars appeal from the Court of Appeal on leave decisions and the legal aid 42-day stay under s15(4) did not invalidate the decision where the Court may lift the stay under s15(7) in the circumstances of a repeated application and prior refusal of aid.
