The coroner directed consolidation of the 39 deaths into a single inquest, ordered the police to provide the full death investigation report by early June 2024, set a timetable for a second pre-inquest review within two months of receipt (and in any event no later than September 2024), and directed disclosure of proposed witness lists, statements and expert reports at least 21 days before that review; families may act in person or instruct counsel and may apply for legal aid.
