On the balance of probabilities the Applicant proved she suffered de Quervain disease of the left wrist and a sprain of the right hand but did not prove ongoing or permanent incapacity; objective medical and surveillance evidence, inconsistencies in accounts and expert findings of non‑organic or exaggerated symptoms undermined credibility; Medical Assessment Board review decisions were set aside and limited sick leave and medical expense awards were made for five months after each accident with no award for permanent incapacity or other statutory heads.
