On true construction of the DMC (Recital (5), Clauses 7(a) and 7(a)(24)), the Respondent had authority to organise modest social and recreational activities approved by the representative Management Liaison Council because such activities were done in connection with, or were reasonably incidental to, management of a large integrated estate; accordingly the Respondent did not breach the DMC and the appeal is dismissed.
