The writ and supporting affidavit failed to disclose any reasonable cause of action, contained unparticularised and fanciful allegations unconnected to pleaded heads of loss, and were frivolous and an abuse of process; accordingly the court exercised its jurisdiction under Order 18 r.19 and inherent jurisdiction to strike out the writ and dismiss all claims and ordered costs against the plaintiff.
