The judge erred in principle by effectively applying the highest‑tariff drug to the aggregated total without sufficiently adjusting for the fact that approximately 84% of the narcotics by weight was ketamine; the correct overall starting point was 14 years which, after the discounts already applied by the judge, resulted in a sentence of 7 years 10 months imprisonment.
