Section 35 of the Bankruptcy Ordinance permits set-off of mutual dealings; the damages awarded to the debtor were capable of being set off against the creditor's taxed costs, Next properly amended its proof of debt to deduct HK$200,100 plus interest thereby extinguishing the debtor's personal claim, and therefore there was no valid set-off to defeat the bankruptcy petition; the usual bankruptcy order was warranted.
