The Admiralty Court retains jurisdiction to arrest and to maintain the arrest of a vessel notwithstanding a mandatory stay of proceedings for arbitration; arrest may be maintained to preserve security for a potential judgment in rem where there is a real risk the defendant will not satisfy an arbitration award or will abscond with the vessel; accordingly the defendant's motion to set aside the warrant and to stay or restrict the Admiralty proceedings on that ground is dismissed.
