For the 1977 list (relevant date 1 April 1977) the Tribunal found first and second floor flats would let at HKD 600 per month exclusive of rates and set rateable values at HKD 7,200 for each (reducing the Commissioner’s assessments); for the 1984 list (relevant date 1 July 1983) the Tribunal accepted an appropriate unit rate of about HKD 54 per sqm after adjustments, but allowed differential adjustments by floor and determined specific monthly rents and corresponding rateable values for each flat, dismissing the appeal of the first appellant and allowing the others accordingly; Collector orde…
