    On a broad‑brush assessment the wife failed to demonstrate immediate need or an established pattern of payments amounting to maintenance; the historical payments were more consistent with consultancy fees to a company under documentary agreements and cash transfers lacked continuity and purpose as recurring maintenance; the DA was not determinative at the interim stage prior to decree absolute; the vehicle renewal claim was outside the court's jurisdiction. Accordingly the summons for maintenance pending suit was dismissed.
