Master Lung’s reservation of costs placed the taxation outside the automatic operation of s67(5); the Taxing Master/court therefore had discretion to award costs and, exercising that discretion, awarded the costs of taxation up to and including 1 December 2000 to the plaintiff while making no order for costs after that date due to procedural conduct and the unnecessary introduction of the one-sixth argument.
