The court refused the anonymity applications because the applicant provided only unsubstantiated assertions of fear and psychiatric injury; there was no evidence of threat to life, torture, or risk to fair trial; labour department and treating doctor’s reports contradicted severe incapacity; fear of adverse employment consequences is insufficient as a matter of law. Therefore anonymity was not justified and the applications were dismissed with costs to the defendant.
