Although the trial judge used a two-stage formulation, he made specific findings about what was known to the accused and about the accused's beliefs, rejected relevant parts of his testimony, and gave detailed reasons connecting multiple transactional features to the inference of money laundering; the applicant did not establish a prima facie likelihood of success on appeal based on duplicity or misapplication of law, therefore bail pending appeal was properly refused.
