    LWYA v. KYW
    Court
    Court of Appeal
    Case number
    CACV151/2013

Given the undisputed evidence that NPL is a property-holding company with substantial audited fixed assets, profits and transactions, together with the par value of the 20,000,000 shares totalling HK$20,000,000 (amounting to 16% of issued capital) and further documentary evidence of authorised capital increases and property acquisitions, the Court was satisfied that the applicants\' claim to the shares was clearly quantifiable at a value in excess of HK$1,000,000. Accordingly the applicants were granted leave to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal as of right under the old s22(1)(a).
