The court dismissed the appeal and confirmed the sentence because, having applied the totality principle and taken account of mitigation, an additional four months consecutive for dishonesty involving breaches of trust and HK$12,866 was a fair and modest addition; reducing the consecutive element to two months would undervalue the gravity of the offences.
