PP3) should have been rejected for want of evidence proving voluntariness, but the trial judge correctly admitted and relied on the oral admissions because he found the arresting officers credible and the oral admissions were independently voluntary; the wrongful admission of the written statement did not occasion a miscarriage of justice and the appeal is dismissed.
