After a re‑hearing of the evidence the court accepted the police officers' credible testimony, found trial counsel acted reasonably within tactical bounds and in accordance with appellant's instructions, concluded the alleged counsel failures did not deny a fair trial, and determined the prosecution proved the assaults beyond reasonable doubt; accordingly the convictions are upheld and the appeal dismissed.
