The court found the respondent to be determined and resolute based on his drafting and promotion of the Online Declaration, inflammatory public posts and active role in the primaries, and concluded there were not sufficient grounds to believe he would not continue to commit acts endangering national security if released; therefore under NSL s42(2) bail must be refused and the existing bail revoked.
