Fingerprint impressions on the address book, an unembossed card and packet wrappings, combined with the quantity, quality and mailing pattern of embossed and unembossed counterfeit cards, justified the inference that the applicant had custody or control of the counterfeit instruments and intended they be made and used as genuine; the judge was entitled to reject the applicant's explanation and to find intent beyond reasonable doubt; conducting the trial on admitted facts was not irregular where the evidence was undisputed and no prejudice occurred.
