The Court concluded that PCCW demonstrated a sufficiently good arguable case that Bolkiah-type protection could apply to a senior in-house adviser privy to confidential and privileged FMIC material and that the balance of convenience favoured interim injunctive relief pending expedited appeal; accordingly temporary injunctions restraining the first defendant from involvement in FMIC matters and the second defendant from involving him were granted.
