HUI (ANNIE) GUO v. YUEDONG XU AND OTHERS
- Citation
- [2022] HKCFI 1331
- Court
- Court of First Instance
- Case number
- HCCL3/2019
A short, fixed extension was justified to allow the plaintiff a fair opportunity to obtain documents, but an open‑ended extension was refused because the plaintiff had prior opportunity to act, had not acted with due haste, and further delay would cause undue prejudice to the 4th and 5th defendants. Accordingly the court granted a limited extension and made an unless order debaring the plaintiff from taking out interlocutory applications unless they are filed by 20 May 2022.
