The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal because the applicant had expressly confirmed at the leave hearing that she had no complaint of legal error, procedural unfairness or irrationality; the judge correctly found the claim obviously unsustainable with no realistic prospect of success; moreover, the applicant failed to comply with Registrar's directions and the appeal was properly dealt with on paper; accordingly there was no basis to overturn the refusal of leave.
