Leave to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal was refused because the applicant did not identify any error in the Court of Appeal's judgment nor any question of great general or public importance under section 22(1)(b), and there was no basis under the 'or otherwise' limb to justify granting leave.

The application for leave to appeal is dismissed because the trial judge's findings of primary fact were not shown to be plainly wrong; the alleged 'admissions' in the Defence were not sufficiently broad to shift the burden of proof from the plaintiff, the judge properly identified issues and gave detailed reasons why the plaintiff's evidence failed to prove the alleged sexual abuses on the balance of probabilities, and there was no basis to reject the trial judge's credibility and reliability assessments.
