Leave to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal was refused because the defendants failed to demonstrate any real prospects of success on the intended appeal and did not raise any question of great general or public importance as required by section 22(1)(b) of the Court of Final Appeal Ordinance (Cap 484); issues concerning the 2016 judgment were not properly before the application and the application is therefore dismissed with costs.
