The Court dismissed the appeal and upheld the total sentence of 9 years because the judge correctly assessed the serious and escalating nature of the appellant's repeat sexual offending against multiple underage victims, properly weighed aggravating factors (age gaps, pregnancy, unprotected intercourse, psychological harm, prior similar conviction and high risk of reoffending), applied guilty plea discounts and the totality principle, and there was no basis to interfere with the sentencing exercise.
